Two ASCC-ACNR Instructional Program staff, Pauline Tuitele-McFall and Eirenei Tesimale, presented a poster at the Society for Nutrition for Education and Behavioral (SNEB) Conference held from July 29 to August 1, 2024. The conference was held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. The SNEB international conference is an annual event in which nutrition professionals have the opportunity to learn and explore the latest findings and research in nutrition education, behavior change, practice, and policy. Pauline and Eirenei’s poster presentation titled “Fa’a Samoa Recruitment for a Study on Caregiver Perceptions of Child Diet Quality in American Samoa” was based on qualitative research conducted last Fall 2023. This study involved interviews with 20 caregivers from 6 communities across American Samoa who were part of the Children’s Healthy Living (CHL) study in 2019.
